**William Maurice Dooly: A Life Remembered**

William Maurice Dooly, affectionately known as Bill, passed away at the age of 45 on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at his home in Nashua, surrounded by his family. Born on October 19, 1979, in Waverly, Iowa, to Richard and Susan Dooly, Bill was a man who lived life to the fullest, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.

A Man of Many Talents

After graduating from Nashua High School, Bill bravely served in the United States Marine Corps before embarking on a path as a self-employed jack-of-all-trades. His versatile skills and willingness to help others made him a respected member of the community. Whether it was fixing vehicles or lending a hand wherever needed, Bill’s entrepreneurial spirit and dedication were admired by many.

A Passion for the Outdoors

Bill’s love for the outdoors was evident in his hobbies. An avid fisherman, he spent countless hours searching for the perfect fishing spot, often accompanied by his beloved mother. His knowledge of the local waters was vast, and he generously shared his favorite spots with others. When not by the water, Bill could be found working on vehicles, embracing the challenge of fixing anything that came his way.

A Life Lived with Passion

The great outdoors was Bill’s sanctuary, where he cherished the beauty of nature through camping and storytelling around the campfire with friends. His adventurous spirit, joy in the simple things, and willingness to help others will be remembered by all who knew him. Though he has left us, Bill’s legacy of living authentically and embracing every moment with open arms will continue to inspire and comfort those who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him.

Survived by his mother Susan Graeser, sister Victoria Dooly, and children William, Austin, Zack, Faith, and Stella Gorshe, Bill’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Dooly and nephew Matthew Hampton.
