**Life and Legacy**

Allyn’s story began on April 20, 1954, in Waukon, born to Cletus and Irma Hagensick. He spent his childhood on a dairy farm in Monona before graduating from MFL High School in 1972. Allyn continued his education at NIACC in Mason City and later married Laura Marie Yakel in 1974. Together, they raised two children and built a life filled with love and laughter.

**A Life Well-Lived**

Allyn’s career spanned various roles, from working at United Hydraulics to becoming a dedicated cattle and crop farmer. He later joined NRCS in Franklin and Butler Counties before his tenure at Yaggy Colby, now SEH in Mason City, until his retirement in 2022. Allyn’s commitment to his work was matched only by his dedication to his community and family.

**Remembering Allyn**

Allyn’s impact extended beyond his professional achievements. He was an active member of the Hampton United Methodist Church, where he and Laura led the youth group. Known as the “family computer geek,” Allyn shared his passion for technology with his loved ones. His joy in simple pleasures, like playing catch with his son, Jeremy, and attending air shows with his grandson, Isaac, brightened the lives of those around him.

**Legacy of Love**

Allyn is survived by his daughter, Jessica, grandson Isaac, brother Steven, sister Dawn, brother-in-law Dave, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. While we mourn his loss, Allyn’s memory will live on through the love and laughter he shared with all who knew him.

In the words of Allyn Hagensick, “Life is a journey, and I am grateful for every step along the way.” Rest in peace, Allyn, knowing that your legacy of love and kindness will never be forgotten.
