A Life Well-Lived

Throughout her life, Angela dedicated herself to serving her community. She worked as a dietician at various healthcare facilities and volunteered with organizations such as Meals on Wheels, hospice, and the Boy and Girl Scouts. In 1986, her contributions were honored when she was named the Charles City Woman of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce.
A Legacy of Love and Family
Family and faith were central to Angela’s life. She married her college sweetheart, Charles William ‘Bill’ Smith, in 1954, and together they raised six children before his untimely passing in 1966.
