Barbara Metzger, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, January 4, 2025, surrounded by loved ones at the Good Samaritan Society-Algona. Her remarkable life and legacy will be celebrated at a service on Friday, January 10th at 10:30 A.M. at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish – St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Algona, Iowa. A vigil service in her honor will be held on Thursday, January 9th, from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Oakcrest Funeral Services.
