NIACC Alumni Advisory Board Welcomes Jodie Ferch and Mary Holmes
MASON CITY – The North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) Alumni Advisory Board has recently welcomed two new members, Jodie (May) Ferch ‘93 and Mary (Kruggel) Holmes ‘77, showcasing the diverse talents and experiences of its alumni base.
Jodie Ferch: A Nursing Professional with a Heart of Gold
Jodie (May) Ferch hails from Austin, Minnesota, and obtained her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from NIACC in 1993. Currently, Ferch serves as a Registered Nurse at Mayo Clinic’s St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester, Minnesota, bringing a wealth of experience from her previous roles at various healthcare facilities across the country. Not only does Ferch excel in her professional endeavors, but she also dedicates her time to volunteer work within her community, embodying the spirit of service and compassion.
Mary Holmes: A Marketing Maven Making Waves in Mason City
Mary (Kruggel) Holmes, a proud NIACC alumna from Mason City, graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts in 1977. Today, Holmes is a Marketing Consultant at Coloff Media in Mason City, where she actively contributes to the local business landscape. Beyond her professional achievements, Holmes is deeply involved in community initiatives, serving on various boards and volunteering for causes close to her heart, making her a true beacon of civic engagement.
