**Cyclones Finish 8th in Georgia, Dominate Northern Iowa at Home**

**Georgia Diving Invitational Recap**

Iowa State diving struggled at the Georgia Diving Invitational, finishing eighth out of eight teams in the women’s division. The division was won by North Carolina, with Kentucky and LSU claiming second and third place, respectively.

**Strong Showing at Home against Northern Iowa**

In a stunning display of dominance, Iowa State defeated Northern Iowa (UNI) by a score of 180-116 on Saturday. This victory marked the end of the season for the Cyclones at home, where they remained undefeated with a 3-0 record in Ames.

**Podium Sweeps and Individual Victories**

The meet began with a powerful performance from the Cyclones in the 400-yard medley relay, where all Iowa State teams outperformed the Panthers, sweeping the podium. Junior Corinne Guist secured the first individual win in the 1000 yard freestyle, finishing nearly 15 seconds ahead of the second-place swimmer with a time of 10:35.42. Guist continued her success with another victory in the 500 yard freestyle, clocking in at 5:09.83.

The dive team also shone brightly during the meet, with Maggie Bendell clinching the victory for the Cyclones in the 3-meter event with a score of 278.95. Ally Blumenfeld (271.60) and Kate Mitchell (270.05) followed closely behind to complete the podium sweep. Mitchell and Blumenfeld took second and third place in the 1-meter event, one of the few events won by UNI.

In the 200-yard butterfly, Iowa State once again dominated with a podium sweep, led by graduate student Winter Craig with an impressive time of 2:05.48. Freshman Miray Abay and senior Mallory Miller took second and third place, respectively, showcasing the depth of talent on the Cyclones’ roster.

**Looking Ahead**

After wrapping up a perfect home season, Iowa State will hit the road for their final competitions of the year. Their next challenge will be a duel against the TCU Horned Frogs in Fort Worth, Texas, on Friday.
