Teddy’s life was marked by his unwavering dedication, both to his family and his interests. After graduating from Mason City High School in 1977, Teddy devoted 20 years of his life to working for the city of Mason City. His roles ranged from park maintenance to street department duties and garbage disposal, showcasing his strong work ethic and commitment to his community.
One of Teddy’s greatest passions was NASCAR, and he took immense pride in his Dale Earnhardt collection. He spent countless hours watching NASCAR races and drag races, with one of the highlights being his attendance at a race in Las Vegas, where he experienced the thrill of being in the pits.
A Life Well-Lived
In addition to his love for NASCAR, Teddy enjoyed unwinding by watching game shows, NCIS, and Survivor on TV. He also found joy in going on fishing trips to Canada and Minnesota, where he would reel in walleye to fry up for a delicious meal. Teddy’s sense of humor and quick wit endeared him to all who knew him, as he never missed an opportunity to crack a joke and bring laughter to those around him.

Teddy leaves behind a legacy that will be fondly remembered by his loved ones. He is survived by his sisters Penny Perry and Lorri Davis, along with his nephews, nieces, great nieces, great nephew, best friend Skip, and many cousins. Teddy was preceded in death by his parents, brother, uncle, and grandparents, leaving behind a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.
